Former District Panchayat member died in a road accident in Ballia, while his son was seriously injured. There was chaos in the family after the accident.

Former District Panchayat member Harindranath Yadav (55), who was returning from an invitation on a bike, died near Bisaruf turn near Parasia Chatti on Nagara-Belthara road in Ballia district on Saturday night. His son Vishal (22) was injured. Upon receiving the information, the police sent the injured son to the hospital for treatment and sent the body for postmortem.

Former District Panchayat member Harindra Nath Yadav, resident of Lahsani (Chakia) village, was returning home by bike after attending the invitation along with his son Vishal. The bike had a head-on collision with a speeding tractor coming from Nagara side at Bisaruf turn near Parasia Chatti. Both father and son were seriously injured in the accident.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the injured father and son to the primary health center by ambulance. Where doctors declared Harindra Nath Yadav dead. Vishal was referred to Sadar Hospital after first aid. The police took the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. On the other hand, seeing the opportunity, the driver ran away with the tractor.
